delete your account

from the app

open settings, scroll to account, and tap delete. you are asked once to confirm. the moment you do, your account, your synced pages and your sign-in are removed from the server. there is no waiting period and nothing is kept in a backup you cannot see.

the pages on the device you are holding stay on that device until you delete them there too, under your data in the same settings screen. they were never on the server unless you turned sync on.

by email

if you cannot open the app, write to nuuko.app@gmail.com from the address you signed in with. a person deletes the account within seven days and replies when it is done. nothing is asked of you except that the email comes from that address.

what goes, and what stays

• goes: your account, your email, your synced pages, the people on your shelf, your settings, and any circle you own.
• stays: nothing that names you. the only rows that survive are anonymous milestone counts with no account id, device id, IP or content in them, which cannot be traced back to you, described under what we count.
• without an account there is nothing to delete on our side. everything you wrote is on your device, and settings can clear it.
